Van Gogh's last home in Auver-sur-Oise
A mind woven with secrets, thoughts
shrouded in mystery.
A past clouded with shadows,
slumbering ghosts from a life lost.
A life covered with darkness, never
known to the waking light.
Feelings stronger than the pain they wrought.
A soul split in two, a heart fraught with conflict and remorse.
Knowing never the feeling of peace, rest or repose.
But hope springs eternal that innocence will pull the man out of the monster,
And time will heal the scars.
